Who doesn’t love Anthropologie? Have you ever considered it as a wedding shop? One of the best things you can do to create a unique celebration is think outside the box. I took this photo at the recent rainy day Bliss wedding of Lisa & Matt. They were lucky enough to get all of the colors of a rainbow on their wedding day!

There are so many reasons that I love Autumn and nothing beats a day at the Cider Mill. October in Michigan is usually filled with mild temperatures, warm sunshine, beautiful leaves on the trees and delicious cider and doughnuts. It is a tradition that I think would make for the perfect “theme” behind a wedding day. What would be better than a make-your-own caramel apple bar, or a warm cider based signature drink?

I love bright colors! They bring a really fun and funky style to any event and August is the perfect month for such a color scheme.

Turquoise is the perfect summer color and when paired with a bright and vibrant red, it makes a great color scheme for July.

I know I have said it for every month, but June is a fabulous time for a wedding. The beginning of Summer, the green grass and leaves on the trees. Full days of sunshine, warm weather (but not too hot!) and the relaxing feeling that only this time of year can bring. My picks for the perfect June colors? Purple and green. Two of my favorite colors!
